Water Death by Lauren Beziers

In the dark lake
Where the woman died
The fish grow big on slime
And the trees bend over low.

The hill's shadow casts its gloom,
Gnats nip while the cow's graze
The woman jumped in and did not get out
Porceline and crimson blue on mottled white and grey.
